The anime might be coming back to the US soon

Not to get everyone's hopes too, too far up, but in addition to the manga being relicensed, there have been some merchandise licenses for the US as well: Topps has acquired toy rights and Namco Bandai Games America video game rights. Because it's really unusual for that type of merchandise to tie into a manga-only release, this seems a pretty strong hint that the anime may have already been licensed (or the license is pending), probably by Funimation (although they are being shifty about it, but apparently that isn't unusual— supposedly they've used that tactic for other anime they already had licensed?) and if so it will likely be announced at one of the big cons this summer.

Oh man, I'd be so ecstatic if the anime would come out, especially if Funimation is doing it since they do a good job with anime.

If this happens, I don't even KNOW how excited I'll be. Not only because I'll be able to watch it, but because I'll finally be able to complete my DVD collection without spending ridiculous amounts of money!

That would officially make my year. Better quality DVD copies of the first two seasons (and better dubs - not that they didn't try back in the 90s, but it was 90s dubbing) would be amazing. And, and maybe Stars? Legit Stars?

Also, if Funimation gets it, JMT for Nephrite, please!
