Since I have very little natural talent when it comes to drawing, back in the day I tended to just edit pictures of other senshi to look like my own. It is kind of stealing, yes, but it was innocent. I didn't try to pass them off as my own, just used them to show what my characters looked like, when asked. I always made it clear that I had just edited up artwork from the series itself. There is, however, one drawing of Midnight here that is all my own. I was probably in high school or just out when I drew it.

That was my edit for Sailor Earth. Blue and green, for the Earth, apparently, and red hair because it was something lacking in the other senshi. XD She didn't really have a story and I didn't use her to RP, she was kind of the mascot for the club... or something to that effect. She was my avatar, I guess. ^^;;
This was my first edit of Sailor Midnight. She was a character in our RPG and, probably obviously, a villain. She had an imp henchmen named Itai, and to this day their abusive little (mostly comic relief) servant/master relationship is one of my favourites out of all my creations. XD

Midnight, of course, wasn't all bad --just mostly. Here she is looking pensive. An edit of a Sailor Pluto pic, as is the previous one.

Finally, the only piece of art here I can truly claim as my own.
I don't remember much of her story, only that she was the main villain in our game and she was pulling the strings of her minions from a spaceship of some sort. I don't actually remember what she was trying to accomplish... XD But I do remember she was loads of fun to play! :)
I can't believe I found these. I had actually just transferred a bunch of files from my old external hard-drive to my main desktop the other day to perhaps use to make icons. I had no idea these were among them until I went looking for good pictures for icons moments ago! XD How handy!

I like Midnight! Maybe it's because of her colors, but she seems like a sweet person to me.
